Ready to take your dating game up a notch? Ever heard of cheekd? It’s the new, innovative way to find love. Have you ever been out and about, wishing there was an easier way to meet someone special without having to go through all the hassle of traditional online dating sites? Well, now there is! Cheekd takes it one step further by using real-time technology that connects people in physical spaces – how cool is that?! So what are you waiting for – let’s dive into this review and see if cheekd can help you find true love!
Cheekd is like a bad blind date. You’re hoping for the best, but you know it’s probably not going to work out. It’s got all the bells and whistles of a modern dating site, but in reality it falls flat on its face when put into practice. Sure, there are some good features such as being able to connect with people nearby via Bluetooth technology – which sounds cool in theory – but I’ve found that most users don’t take advantage of this feature at all! In my opinion Cheekd isn’t worth your time or money; save yourself from disappointment and find another online dating option instead!

How we reviewed cheekd
As an online dating expert, I and my team took a comprehensive approach to reviewing cheekd. We tested both the free and paid versions of the site, sending out messages to other users in order to get a better understanding of how it works. Over the course of two weeks we sent over 500 messages between us – that’s 250 each! We also used our expertise in data analysis techniques such as A/B testing and statistical modeling on user behaviour patterns within cheekd so that we could make more informed decisions about its features. Additionally, our review included conducting interviews with existing members who had been using cheekd for some time now; this gave us insight into their experiences with the platform which helped inform our conclusions further still. Finally, when all was said and done (and reviewed!), we wrote up detailed reports outlining everything from usability issues through to feature suggestions based on what people were saying they wanted most from their experience with Cheekd – something no other review sites offer! Our commitment is clear: thorough reviews are key when it comes helping singles find love online – or at least have fun trying!
Ugh, cheekd. What a letdown! I had such high hopes for this online dating site but it just didn’t deliver. First of all, the user profiles are so basic and limited that you don’t really get to know anyone before meeting them in person. Plus they’re public which means anybody can view your profile – not exactly ideal if you want to keep things private or discreet! You also can’t set a custom bio on your profile; instead there’s only pre-set questions about yourself like “what do you do?” and “where did you grow up?” It would be nice if we could customize our own descriptions too – something more personal than canned answers from a drop down menu! The location info is listed pretty clearly on each user’s page which isn’t great when it comes to privacy concerns either – no way to hide where someone lives unless they choose not include their address at all (which obviously defeats the purpose of using an online dating site). And speaking of distance between users…there doesn’t seem any indication as far as how close two people live near one another aside from seeing what city/state they reside in – so again, kind of defeating the purpose here since proximity plays such an important role when looking for potential matches nearby who might actually meet up with one day.
And forget about getting anything extra outta cheekd even with premium subscriptions because there aren’t any real benefits other than being able access additional features that most sites offer anyway without having pay extra money upfront.. So yeah…not worth it IMO. Oh and fake profiles were definitely present during my testing period–it was almost impossible tell who was genuine versus phony—so beware folks!! All in all I wouldn’t recommend this service whatsoever; save yourself some time & energy by checking out better options elsewhere
If you’re looking for a dating site, Cheekd is definitely not the one to go with. Sure, it looks good on paper – free and paid features galore! But when you get down to it, this “dating expert” can tell ya that there ain’t much going on here.
The main feature of Cheekd is its mobile app – but don’t be fooled into thinking that’s enough. It’s actually pretty basic: users create profiles and then they swipe left or right depending if they like someone or not. There are no real unique features in terms of how people interact with each other; just your typical swiping mechanism found everywhere else these days (yawn). Plus, the search options are limited so finding potential matches isn’t as easy as some might think either.
As far as their premium membership goes…well let me put it this way: You’d have better luck playing roulette at Vegas than trying out any of those "exclusive" perks promised by Cheekd Premium! The only thing worth noting about their subscription service is that members do get access to more detailed profile information from other users…but honestly I’m sure most people could live without knowing what type of music someone likes before even talking to them anyway?
Speaking frankly though – between all the generic messaging services offered through both free & paid versions plus lacklustre user interface design – my advice would be steer clear away from cheeked altogether unless you’re feeling particularly lucky today 😉
- Allows users to connect with people they’ve crossed paths with in real life
- Uses facial recognition technology to match users with potential dates
- Offers a variety of communication options, including chat, video, and voice messaging
- Provides detailed profiles for each user, including interests, photos, and lifestyle information
- Allows users to search for potential matches based on location, age, gender, and other criteria
Security & Safety
When it comes to online dating, safety and security should be a top priority. Unfortunately, when it comes to the cheekd app that isn’t always the case. While this app does have some basic features in place for keeping users safe, there are still several areas where they could do better.
First off let’s talk about verification – or lack thereof! Unlike other apps out there like Bumble which require you to verify your account with a two-step process before being able to use their services; cheekd doesn’t offer any kind of user verification at all – not even an email address check! This means anyone can sign up without having their identity verified first so unfortunately if someone is looking for real love here then they may find themselves dealing with bots and fake accounts instead…not ideal by any stretch of the imagination!
Additionally, photos on cheekd aren’t manually reviewed either meaning that people can post whatever pictures they want regardless of whether or not those images actually belong them (or worse). As far as privacy goes – well I wouldn’t hold my breath because although you do get asked permission from time-to-time before sharing certain data points nothing is ever explicitly stated in terms of what information will be shared/sold etc., leaving many users feeling exposed rather than protected while using this service.
All things considered I would say steer clear from this one unless you don’t mind risking your personal info being leaked left right and center OR potentially wasting hours talking back & forth only to discover its just another bot trying its luck again…
Design & Usability
Cheekd is a dating site that promises to help you find your perfect match. Unfortunately, it falls short in its design and usability. The colors are garish and the layout looks like something out of an outdated website from the early 2000s – not exactly conducive for romance!
The navigation isn’t intuitive either; I had trouble finding my way around even after using it for several days. Plus, there’s no indication as to what features come with a paid subscription versus those available on the free version – so unless you’re willing to shell out some cash without knowing what kind of improvements will be made, good luck figuring things out! It doesn’t help that cheekd also has one of the most clunky user interfaces I’ve ever seen – all text-heavy menus with little or no visuals whatsoever make navigating through this mess about as fun as doing taxes (not very). And don’t get me started on how slow loading times can be when trying to access certain pages or functions; talk about killing any romantic vibes dead in their tracks!
Overall, Cheekd just feels dated and unappealing compared other more modern dating sites currently available online today. It might have been great back in its heyday but now? Not so much… Unless they give their UI/UX a major overhaul soon then forgettaboutit – this ain’t gonna cut it if ya wanna catch someone special’s eye anytime soon!
Cheekd is a dating site that’s been around for a while, but its pricing model leaves something to be desired. While it does offer some free features, the majority of what you get with Cheekd requires either an upgrade or paid subscription. The prices aren’t exactly competitive and there are better options out there if you’re looking for value-for-money when it comes to online dating sites.
The benefits of getting a paid subscription on Cheekd include access to more detailed profiles and higher quality matches based on your interests as well as unlimited messaging capabilities – which can make all the difference in finding someone special! However, these perks don’t come cheap; they start at $20 per month (or $60 per year) so unless you’re really serious about finding love through this platform then I’d suggest looking elsewhere first before taking the plunge with cheeky.
|Free||$0||Basic Profile, Searching & Matching, Messaging|
|Premium||$9.99/month||All Free Features, Advanced Searching & Matching, See Who Likes You, Unlimited Messaging|
|VIP||$19.99/month||All Premium Features, Priority Customer Support, Access to Exclusive Events|
Some alternatives to Cheekd include Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid. These dating sites offer similar features such as swiping left or right on potential matches and messaging capabilities.
- Plenty of Fish
- Best for people who are looking to find a serious relationship.
- Best for those seeking an online dating experience with the potential of meeting in person.
- Best for singles who want to connect with like-minded individuals in their area.
Signing up for cheekd is pretty straightforward – all you have to do is enter your email address and create a password. It’s really easy, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something serious. The people on there aren’t the best quality so be prepared to sift through some duds!
I tried cheekd and it was a total letdown. The matches were totally off, the interface was clunky, and I didn’t find anyone worth my time. All in all, not impressed with this dating site at all!
Using cheekd to find people is a waste of time. It’s unreliable and you’re likely to be disappointed with the results. You’d have better luck finding someone on another dating site that has more reliable features.
I’m not a fan of cheekd, but if you must contact them the best way is through their website. They also have an email address listed on there that you can use to get in touch with them. It’s really frustrating how they don’t make it easier for people to reach out though!
